Hey! So for today's sketch challenge card over at the
Stamps and Smiles blog, I decided to try a new technique. Okay, so new for me anyway...
I decided that I'm not going to overthink my card-making. Do you ever sit down to make a card and just pick the h#ll out of it? Seriously, it's gotten ridiculous with me. Everytime I make a card I spend more and more time thinking about every teeny tiny detail that I spend HOURS on one card, only to not even like it when I'm done! This card was different, I think it took me 20 minutes and I didn't even think about it. I picked out the DP first, then just ran with it. On the main image, I found a tiny fleck of ink and normally I would've trashed it and started over, but not this time! I didn't overthink the Copic colors, or ribbon. I grabbed the first ribbon I thought may work and stuck with it. Then I started panicking about the circle shapes for the sketch. Then I just thought, well maybe for this one I will just pop out some circles and be done with it! LOL!
So anyways, that's my long-winded card story! I hope you enjoy it and if you get a chance go check out the sketch challenge today.
Thanks for stopping by!
